Positions Available

1. Audit Managers

Job description

You shall:

  • be responsible for leading and/or managing a team of audit professionals.
  • manage a portfolio of audit clients from a variety of industry backgrounds.
  • be responsible for supervising and developing audit associates.
  • review audit workpapers.
  • report directly to the audit partners.

Essential attributes

You must:

  • have sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.
  • Demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate others.
  • have strong initiative and self-motivation.
  • be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) is an essential attribute.

Qualifications and experience

You must:

  • have a ACCA or Degree qualification which is recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, or have the Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification.
  • have at least 5 years of relevant audit experience in a local firm.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • knowledge of CCH Prosystem FX software would be an added advantage.

 

2. Audit Associates/ Senior Associates

Job description

You shall:

  • perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
  • be responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of audit fieldwork.
  • follow up on audit findings independently. For senior associates, you shall be expected to lead and manage audit engagements, and perform first-level review of audit files.

Essential attributes

You must:

  • have sound knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards.
  • have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • be able to work under pressure.
  • be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and experience

You must have:

  • You must have an ACCA or Degree qualification which is recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, or have the Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification.
  • You must have at least 1 year of relevant audit experience for associate level or minimum of 3 years for senior associate level.

Job description

Assignments relating to evaluation and documentation of business processes and internal controls, risk management and regulatory advisory work. This includes reviewing and formulating recommendations for processes and controls to comply with corporate and regulatory requirements and expectations.

  • Reviewing and providing advice and controls in business processes, applications and risk management frameworks.
  • Advisory services such as control self-assessment, corporate governance, and enterprise risk assessment projects.
  • Regulatory compliance advice, review and co-sourced solutions.

Essential attributes

The ideal candidate should:

  • have a strong understanding of internal controls,
  • have a good understanding of risk management frameworks and corporate governance.
  • have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • have good presentation and report writing skills.
  • be independent, resourceful, and inquisitive.
  • be able to assess the practical aspects of business operations and management to enable sound and practical recommendations to clients, work in a team environment, and have strong project and client management skills
  • be willing to travel occasionally.

Qualifications and experience


You must:

  • possess a degree in Accountancy or equivalent (CPA/CIA preferred).
  • a minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal audit in an international or reputable public accounting firm (preferred) and/or business controls, commercial internal audit in a reputable multinational company.
  • have knowledge of enterprise risk management, leading industry practices and the Singapore regulatory environment
  • have strong MS Excel skills.

Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) would be an added advantage.

1. Tax Director / Senior Manager (Corporate Tax)

Job description

Reporting to the Tax Partner, you are responsible for the overall business development and management of a team of tax professionals.

      • Provide effective tax advisory and compliance services to our corporate clients across diverse industries
      • assist clients in resolving disputes with and inquiries from the tax authority.
      • Ensure consistent and latest technical updates being disseminated to the tax department and the firm.
      • Staff planning and management to ensure progression and team development.
      • Take on a proactive role in identifying new business streams and growing business through effective relationship building and partnering.

Essential attributes

You must:

      • have strong technical knowledge in tax legislation and practice
      • have keen interest in keeping up with changes in tax legislation
      • have strong leadership and managerial skills
      • be proactive, committed and able to work under pressure
      • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications and experience

You must have:

      • an accounting/tax degree or professional accounting/tax qualification recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants or Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
      • At least 8 years’ relevant experience in tax management and corporate tax, preferably with IRAS or an international public accounting firm.
      • Accredited Tax Professional with SIATP will be an added advantage

1. Accounts Associate

Job description

You shall:

      • be responsible for the preparation of routine and ad-hoc financial accounts.
      • prepare audit schedules and liaise with our clients’ auditors in order to facilitate the audit process.
      • handle GST reporting.

Qualifications

You must have:

      • minimum CAT / Diploma in Accounting.
      • ability to handle full set of accounts.
      • proficiency in using accounting software or ERP system

1. Corporate Recovery Senior Manager / Associate Director

Job description

The ideal candidate shall play a leading role in managing and building the corporate recovery practice. He/she shall be a dynamic and self motivated person with good business acumen and strong leadership qualities.

The work will cover a wide spectrum in business advisory, investigation and corporate recovery assignments, which include leading, managing and coaching team members in:

  • dealing with debtors, creditors, employees and other stakeholders;
  • securing and realization of assets;
  • analyzing financials and implementing plans; and
  • preparing investigation reports.
