Corporate Recovery

Whether you are a business owner looking to restructure your business, manage your crisis or wind up your business in an orderly manner to preserve goodwill or a creditor looking to protect your interests, we will work with you to understand your concerns and to offer practical and cross disciplinary solutions.

Liquidation

A businessman may wish to wind up his business voluntarily or creditors may wish to protect their interests. We are able to act as liquidator either in a voluntary liquidation (Members’ or Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation) or Court Winding Up. We provide practical steps necessary to place the company in liquidation.

Lender Services

We are able to assist lenders experiencing difficulties with delinquent borrowers through independent business reviews and evaluation. This allows an improved understanding of the borrower’s current state of affairs and facilitates the lenders’ evaluation of its recovery options.

We are able to work with borrowers on a debt restructuring plan and monitor the borrower’s adherence to agreed repayment schedules.

If a loan is secured by a debenture and other recovery options proved not feasible, we are able to act as receiver. We may similarly be appointed as receivers by the Court, where the interests of justice require it.

Corporate Restructuring

Corporate restructuring and turnaround requires skills and a creative mind to map out a plan to meet stakeholders’ needs. We can assist in analysing and reviewing your operations, business and future plans and recommend practical solutions for effective and efficient implementation either through scheme of arrangement or private arrangement.

Forensic Investigations

In the event of suspected misfeasance, we are able to use our expertise and insights to investigate into the company’s books and produce an investigation report of our findings.

Litigation Support

We work closely with solicitors to provide relevant litigation support from preparation of financial data, forensic accounting and valuation of shares of business. We also can act as expert witness in litigation proceedings.

Judicial Management

For a viable business or project, this provides valuable breathing space for the Company to restructure its business and offer a better outcome to stakeholders.

Trustees/Nominees in Bankruptcy

We are able to act as nominees for individual debtors to facilitate the adoption of a composition or scheme of arrangement to avoid bankruptcy proceedings. In the event of a bankruptcy, we are also able to act as private trustees to administer the bankrupt’s estate.
